At Chill, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Our business model is simple: We sell an app, not your data.

🛡️
Privacy Promise: We do not track you, we do not profile you, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

01 Local-First Architecture

Chill operates on a "Local-First" principle, meaning all your data resides physically on your device.

  • No Accounts: You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use Chill.
  • No Cloud Sync: We do not have servers that sync or store your diaries, photos, or wardrobe items.
  • No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) to track your behavior inside the app.

02 Data We Do Not Collect

To be explicitly clear about what we do not access:

  • ❌ We do not access your location data (GPS).
  • ❌ We do not access your contact list.
  • ❌ We do not see your payment information (all transactions are handled by Apple's App Store).

03 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in the Application Sandbox on your iOS device. This is a protected area of storage that other apps cannot access.

Encryption

If you have a passcode or FaceID/TouchID enabled on your iOS device, the entire file system is encrypted by the operating system. We rely on Apple's robust hardware-level encryption to protect your data at rest.

Data Backup

⚠️
Important: Because we don't have servers, we can't back up your data. Please ensure you enable iCloud Backup for your entire device to prevent data loss if your phone is lost or broken.

04 App Permissions

We may request the following permissions only when necessary for specific features:

  • Photo Library: To allow you to select photos for your diary or wardrobe.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your iOS Settings.

05 Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

06 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
